Going away skiing? Picking up a new Hobby? Snowboarding with your friends? Fancy a thrilling tubing party? Get ready for the mountains, in the heart of the city centre !!! Whether skiing or snowboarding, new to the sport or with many years experience, we have the facilities to get you prepared.
Recreational skiing and snowboarding is a great way to practice and improve your skills, If you had a private or a group lesson with us we recommend that you come along to practice what you have learnt to make the best out of your learning experience.
You can come down for recreational skiing and boarding at any time during our opening hours. We do recommend that you book online or call before coming down to make sure that we do not have any special events on.
To be able to use our slope for recreational skiing or snowboarding you only need to have had one previous lesson hear or at another centre. You must be confident to use the lift. booking is required.
Price for recreational includes equipment hire.
If you are looking for a FUN and THRILLING activity which requires no previous experience then you should definitely give TUBING a go!!! Tubes are massive inflatable rings which you can slide down the slope in. You can be Spun, Linked to each other, go backwards, make Trains and Race your Friends. Tubing is a great idea for any PARTY or TEAM building activity. It is a very Sociable activity which will bond you and your friends together!!! it’s FUN, SAFE, ADDICTIVE and suitable for all ages!!!!

Located in Fairwater Park, only ten minutes from Cardiff City Centre, Cardiff Ski and Snowboard Centre was built in 1969 by Cardiff City Council. The slope measures 100 metres and was the one of the first dry slopes in Great Britain.
